Hi, I’m Yuki,
the designer behind
Akemi Creative.
My career started in the advertising world, working with global corporations and brands. Later on, I began working with local design agencies, and more recently, I have had the pleasure of working with entrepreneurs as they grow their small businesses.
I went from creating billboards, magazine ads and sales catalogs to transition into a more digitally based world, working in email marketing campaigns and web design.
Akemi means bright & beautiful in japanese.
Our goal is to use graphic design to turn ideas into beautiful visual concepts, to interpret the rational language of business and translate it into the emotional language of design.
Fun facts about me
I was born in Lima, Perú and moved to Miami, FL to study Graphic Design in August of 1999. Florida has been my home ever since and I have a sense of deep gratitude for it.

My husband and I have 2 kids, one in Middle School and one in High School. Where does time go?!

Some of my favorite things are: dogs, plants, the mountains, peruvian food, coffee & chocolate.

Some of my favorite things to do are: gardening, decorating, relaxing in my back porch, going to church, meals with friends, teaching Sunday school, spending time with family & hiking in the mountains.

I enjoy watching History related documentaries, especially those related with World War 2.
My music playlist is stuck in the 90’s.
